GOVERNANCE

Sagehill is governed by a 7 person board.  Each individual is elected, by our members, to the Board during an Annual General Meeting. Each member is elected to a two-year term. That term may be repeated twice. After serving 3 consecutive 2-year terms a member must step off the Board for a minimum 1-year period.

At the heart of our program is a firm belief that local, community-based decision making is key to shaping our economic future. Each member of our Board is committed to the Sagehill region and to assist where we can to ensure that each of our communities is strong, vibrant and a good place to call home.

We have a duty to be good stewards; to govern with integrity; to take responsibility for creating appropriate and effective programs and services that provide the people of our region with the critical tools and support they require so that they may achieve their dreams. Taking on those responsibilities has certainly been our pleasure.
